14 June – 15 July 2009 twenty young artists from all over Europe gathered in Vilnius, the European Capital of Culture, and were creating for the Children’s Hospital of Vilnius.
The workshops took place in the building of a former monastery near SS. Peter and Paul’s Church, a masterpiece of baroque architecture in Lithuania. Four weeks were devoted for practical training, generation of creative ideas and their implementation.
A two-day seminar of art therapy opened the programme; it consisted of theory lectures and practical tasks, as well as experience-gaining sessions. Other seminars and creative workshops were led by famous Lithuanian and foreign artists, active professionals of fine and graphic arts, sculture and interdisciplinary art.
